INDUSTRY NEWS

DREW ESTATE
Over the last three decades, Drew Estate has grown from a small startup operating out of New York into one of the most influential companies in the premium cigar industry.
Founded in 1996 by Jonathan Drew and Marvin Samel, the company built its reputation by challenging the traditional cigar world with bold marketing, innovative blends, and a completely different approach to cigar culture.
Today, Drew Estate is known for producing some of the most recognizable cigars on the market, including Liga Privada, Undercrown, Deadwood, Herrera Estelí, and ACID. Their ability to balance creativity with high-quality craftsmanship has helped them build one of the most loyal followings in the industry. Whether you enjoy traditional premium cigars or modern flavor-forward blends, Drew Estate has consistently proven they know how to create cigars that stand out.
This week, we wanted to spotlight two of Drew Estate’s newest releases that have been generating buzz in the cigar community:
Blends Worth Trying

SOME CIGARS ARE ROLLED WITH “ENTUBADO” CONSTRUCTION

One of the signs of a highly skilled cigar roller is a technique called entubado—Spanish for “tubed.”
Instead of bunching the filler tobacco together randomly, the torcedor rolls each filler leaf into its own tiny tube before assembling the cigar. This creates small air channels throughout the cigar, helping deliver a better draw, more even burn, and smoother airflow.
The process is more time-consuming and requires serious craftsmanship, which is why many premium brands proudly use it in their higher-end cigars. Some aficionados even say they can immediately tell when a cigar uses entubado construction because of how effortless the draw feels.
It’s one of those hidden details most smokers never see—but it can completely change the smoking experience.
🔥 Have you ever smoked a cigar with a near-perfect draw? It might’ve been rolled using entubado!
